Govt of india today issued guidelines for covid vaccination for polling officials in five states.
According to the letter"
Necessary changes have been made on Co-WIN to facilitate early administration of precaution dose of Covid-19 vaccine i.e
prior to completion of 9 months but only after the completion of 3 months (90 days) from the date of administration of second dose, for the officials/staff deployed on election duty. The Health Care Workers (HCWs) & Front Line Workers (FLWs) which have been already tagged on Co-WIN may be further tagged as HCW-Polling Official or FLW-Polling
Official. Also those HCW & FLW who have taken vaccination as Citizen can also be tagged as above.
Polling officials will have to produce Election certificate
In both of the above scenarios, Polling duty document/certificate which need to uploaded at the time of verification during vaccination
and same would be required to be submitted by concerned beneficiary at the vaccination
centre.
It is suggested that, the Covid-19 Vaccination of all the officials/staff being deployed on election duty may be carried out at respective designated Polling training
centres for such officials."
