Punjab School Education Board Announces Interview Schedule for Academic Support Group
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the interview schedule for the Academic Support Group (ASG). The interviews will be held from March 4, 2024 to March 5, 2024 at the School of Eminence, Phase 11, SAS Nagar, Mohali.
Who is eligible to for interview?
Teachers who have applied online for the position of District Resource Person (Primary)/Assistant DRC or District Resource Person (Upper Primary) are eligible to be interviewed.
What is the interview schedule?
The interview schedule is as follows:
- March 4, 2024: District Resource Person (Primary)/Assistant DRC
- March 5, 2024: District Resource Person (Upper Primary)
What documents do I need to bring to the interview?
The following documents are required to be brought to the interview:
- Service book for the years 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023
- Copy of National/State Teacher Award certificate (if any)
- Copies of certificates for only additional educational qualifications (if any)
- Copy of computer course certificate (if any)
- Certificate of no departmental dues
- Certificate of no test clearance pending
How will the interviews be conducted?
The interviews will be conducted in alphabetical order based on the candidate's district name. Candidates who do not appear for the interview on the scheduled date and time will not be considered for re-interview.
What is the Academic Support Group?
The Academic Support Group (ASG) is a group of teachers who are responsible for providing academic support to students in government schools. The ASG works to improve the quality of education in government schools by providing a variety of services, such as:
- Developing and implementing academic programs
- Providing professional development for teachers
- Monitoring student progress
- Identifying and addressing the needs of at-risk students
