ਸਮਾਜ ਭਲਾਈ, ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਲ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿਵਿਆਂਗਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ 50000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਜਾਣੋ ਪੂਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ
The Department of Social Welfare, Women & Child Development,Chandigarh Administration in association with Artificial Limbs (ALIMCO) Mohali is organizing an Assessment Camp for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) for distribution of Aids & Appliances under Manufacturing Corporation of India Auxilary Production Centre Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) Scheme.
Under this scheme the Aids and Applainces like Wheelchair, Tricycle, Crutches, MSIED Kit, Braille Kits, Artificial Limbs, Calipers etc upto a maximum cost of Rs. 50,000/-of each item can be given to PwDs free of cost if he/she fulfils following eligibility criterias, which are as under:
ELIGIBILITY OF THE BENEFICIARIES
1. An Indian citizen of any age
2. Holding a 40% Disability Certificate (Benchmark disability)
3. Having monthly income from all sources not exceeding Rs. 22,500/- per month
4. Not having received assistance during the last 3 years for the same purpose from any source. However, for children below 12 yearsof age, the minimum time of assistance is one year.
Divyangjans are hereby requested to attend this camp on 17th-18th August 2023 at Asha Kiran, Vocational Training Centre, Sector-46 D, Chandigarh from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for assessment of their disabilities.
The following documents are required to be submitted during the Assessment Camp, which are as under:
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
1. Copy of Income Certificate issued by the Employer/ Head of Institution/ Tehsildar/ Competent Revenue Authority of State
2. The monthly income has to be less than or equal to Rs. 22,500/- for getting free Aids & Appliances 3. Copy of Adhaar card
4. UDID Card
5. Two passport size photographs
