Maximum development promises fulfilled of Sri Anandpur Sahib, remaining would also fulfilled: Rana KP
Sri Anandpur Sahib, August 13: The Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh said that all the Gram Panchayats were being given grants of crores of rupees to accelerate the pace of development in Sri Anandpur Sahib Constituency. He retreated that almost all development promise have been fulfilled without any discrimination and the remaining would be completed soon. Rana KP Singh was speaking at a function organised here today at Bunga Sahib / Bharatgarh to distribute checks of grants of about Rs. 10 crore to the Gram Panchayats of the constituency.
He said that overall 75 crore projects would be inaugurated and foundation stones would be laid on 14th August in the Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency. He said that the underpass has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.25 crore in Kharota has been opened to the public. 90% work of first phase of Changar's Rs. 75 crore lift irrigation scheme has been completed and second phase work to start soon. The beautification project of Sri Anandpur Sahib at a cost of Rs. 30 crore and construction of a memorial of Bhai Jaita ji at a cost of Rs. 10 crore is underway. Renovation work of the laboratory block has been completed at a cost of Rs. 80 lakh. Parshuram Bhawan at Nangal has been opened to the public. Multi-purpose community centers costing crores are under construction at Barari and Kiratpur Sahib. About two dozen community centres have been constructed and many are under construction in the villages. Oxygen plants have been installed at the government hospital Sri Anandpur Sahib. Government degree college at Mahin and ITI at Dabud are under construction.
Apart from this three gates have been constructed at Sri Kiratpur Sahib with the cost of 66 lacs and 80 crore Garhshankar-Naina Devi Via Sri Anandpur Sahib road has been renovated and strengthened. Rana KP Singh further said that the foundation stone of three bridges Rs. 14.60 crore in Jandla, Rs. 3.55 crore in Thaluh and Rs. 2.24 Crore would be laid on 14th August. Besides this foundation stone of upgradation of Sewrage system project at Sri Anandpur Sahib steel bridge at Kiratpur Sahib and water supply 79 lac project would be laid.
