DCRG NOMINATION : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਡੈਥ ਕਮ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਮੈਂਟ ਗਰੈਚੁਟੀ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ
**ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ,22 ਅਗਸਤ 2024 ( ਜਾਬਸ ਆਫ ਟੁਡੇ) ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਭਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਿਵਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਯਮ ਵਾਲੀਅਮ-II ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਡੈਥ ਕਮ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਮੈਂਟ ਗਰੈਚੁਟੀ (DCRG) ਲਈ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦਗੀਆਂ ਦਾਇਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਵਿੱਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ 19 ਅਗਸਤ, 2024 ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਰਕੂਲਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਆਪਣੀ DCRG ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦਗੀਆਂ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਣਦੇਖੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਜਟਿਲਤਾਵਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ DCRG ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦਗੀਆਂ ਹਰ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਦੇ iHRMS ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।
ਸਰਕੂਲਰ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਕੀ ਸਕੱਤਰ, ਖਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਖਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਉੱਦਮ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ, ਨੂੰ iHRMS ਸਿਸਟਮ ਵਿੱਚ DCRG ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦਗੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Punjab Government Mandates DCRG Nominations
**Chandigarh, 22 August 2024 – In a significant move to ensure employee benefits, the Punjab government has issued a directive requiring all government employees to file nominations for Death Cum Retirement Gratuity (DCRG) as per the provisions outlined in the Punjab Civil Services Rules Volume-II.

The Department of Finance, in a circular dated August 19, 2024, highlighted that many employees were neglecting to record their DCRG nominations, leading to potential complications in the payment process. To address this issue, the government has instructed all departments to take necessary action and ensure that DCRG nominations are entered into the iHRMS of every employee.
The circular further directs concerned authorities, including the Administrative Secretary of the Department of Personnel, the Director of Treasury and Accounts, and the Directorate of Public Enterprises and Disinvestment, to implement the necessary procedures to make DCRG nominations mandatory in the iHRMS system.
This mandate aims to streamline the DCRG payment process and ensure that government employees and their families receive the benefits they are entitled to.
