Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today issued an anti-corruption helpline number to facilitate the people to report any harassment or corruption in any department to the given number.
Immediately after the release of the complaint number today, the first complaint lodged by Parminder Singh Saini, Guidance Counselor, Gurdaspur, was made to the Punjab Chief Minister regarding former Education Secretary Krishan Kumar, who is presently the Secretary of Higher Education.

He demanded that during his tenure he has worked for the department for 20 hours, during which he has received many state level and district level awards. He was suspended on May 21, 2020, despite providing good services during the Covid period.
