Lays foundation stone of Rs 79 lakh water supply scheme at Village Gagg

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh today laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various development projects worth Rs. 80 crore. He laid foundation stone of High Level Bridge at Jandla which would be constructed at a cost of Rs. 14.60 crore, High Level Bridge at Thaluh at a cost of Rs. 3.55 crore, Bahuwal at cost of Rs 2.24 Cr. and Water Supply Scheme at village Gagg at a cost of Rs. 79 lacs.Speaking on the occasion Mr. Rana KP said that the Punjab Government is provding free electricity to the people of the state worth Rs 17796 Cr. under various schemes every year which includes farmers and industrialists and weaker sections of the society and the freedom fighters also covered under this scheme. Speaker Rana KP also stated that work of upgradation of sewerage system with the cost of Rs 7.63 Cr and construction of Steel Bridge at Kiratpur Sahib at a cost of Rs. 9 Cr has also begun.
The Speaker further said that the main agenda of the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh led government is inclusive development of the state and providing hassle free services to the people. He said that grants were being distributed without any discrimination to the people for development purposes. He also said that two oxygen plants have been established at Sri Anandpur Sahib and one laboratory has been upgraded with Rs 80 lac. ‘Sri Anandpur Sahib to Mata Naina Devi road has been strengthened and renovated with RS 25 Cr.,” added Speaker Rana KP.
