MeitY releases Draft Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 for public consultation; Feedback/comments sought from public by 18th February, 2025

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has drafted the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 to facilitate the implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). It aims to strengthen the legal framework for the protection of digital personal data by providing necessary details and an actionable framework. Stakeholder are invited to share feedback/comments on the draft Rules.

In line with the SARAL framework, certain principles like simple language, unnecessary cross referencing, contextual definition, and illustrations etc. have been used while drafting the rules. The text of the Rules along with the simplified explanatory notes to enhance accessibility and understanding of the draft Rules is available on the Ministry’s website at https://www.meity.gov.in/data-protection-framework

Overview of draft rules

The draft Rules details about the various implementation aspects such as the notice by the Data Fiduciary to the individuals, registration and obligations of Consent Manager, processing of personal data for issuance of subsidy, benefit, service etc. by State, applicability of reasonable security safeguards, intimation of personal data breach, providing details about availing of their rights by the individuals, processing of personal data of child or of person with disability, setting up the Data Protection Board, appointment and service conditions of the Chairperson and other members of the Board, functioning of Board as digital office, procedure to appeal to Appellate Tribunal among others.

Feedback/comments for Draft Rules

In this regard, feedback/comments may be submitted via the MyGov portal at the following link: https://innovateindia.mygov.in/dpdp-rules-2025 and the last date for submission is 18th February, 2025.

The DPDP Act which received the assent of the President of India, establishes a framework for processing digital personal data. It balances the individual’s right to protect personal data with the need to process such personal data for lawful purposes.

ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਾਨਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਪਰਸਨਲ ਡੇਟਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਟੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਐਕਟ, 2023 (DPDP ਐਕਟ) ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਲਈ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਪਰਸਨਲ ਡੇਟਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਟੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਰੂਲਜ਼, 2025 ਦਾ ਖਰੜਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਯੋਗ ਢਾਂਚਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਡੇਟਾ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਹਿੱਸੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਫੀਡਬੈਕ/ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਈ.ਟੀ.ਟੀ. ਭਰਤੀ 2364 ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਕਰੂਟਨੀ ਲਈ ਮਿਤੀ ਜਾਰੀ

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, 2 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2025: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਈ.ਟੀ.ਟੀ. ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ 2364 ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਸਕਰੂਟਨੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਿਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਕਰੂਟਨੀ 7 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2025 ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ 11 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲੇਗੀ। ਸਕਰੂਟਨੀ ਦਫਤਰ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਭਰਤੀ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟੋਰੇਟ, ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਨੇੜੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮਾਡਲ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ, ਫੇਸ 3ਬੀ-1, ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ ਨਗਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਕਿਹੜੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ?

ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਰਗ (ਈ.ਡਬਲਿਊ.ਐੱਸ.) ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਅੰਕ 51 ਤੋਂ 53 ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹਨ। ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਸਲ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, 2 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2025 ( ਜਾਬਸ ਆਫ ਟੁਡੇ) : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਸਸਪੈਂਡ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਗੁਰਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਗੁਰਕਿਰਤ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਤਾਹੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਧੱਬਾ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਚਾਰ ਸੰਹਿਤਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲੱਗੇ ਸਨ। 

ਸੰਧੂ 'ਤੇ ਖਰੜ ਸੀਆਈਏ ਦੀ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਨਾਲ ਟੀਵੀ ਚੈਨਲ ਦਾ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੈ।

SALARY ISSUE : ਤਨਖਾਹ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ 

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 2 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2025 ( ਜਾਬਸ ਆਫ ਟੁਡੇ) ਸਮੱਗਰਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਸਟੇਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਇੱਕ ਮੀਮੋ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਮੱਗਰਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਅਧੀਨ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨ-ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਦਸੰਬਰ 2024 ਦੀ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ।

ਮੀਮੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਡਿਮਾਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਸਟੇਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਇੱਕ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਹੜਤਾਲ 'ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਭੇਜੀ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ, 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ (ਜਾਬਸ ਆਫ ਟੁਡੇ) ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜਤਿੰਦਰ ਜੋਰਵਾਲ ਵਲੋ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ) ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ 3 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ 21 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 2023 ਅਤੇ 15 ਦਸੰਬਰ, 2024 ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ ਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸੂਚੀ ਰਿਵਾਈਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜਤਿੰਦਰ ਜੋਰਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਕੋਲ 24 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਰਿਵਾਈਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅਪੀਲਾਂ ਦਾਇਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਹੈ।

ਖੰਨਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਲਈ ਰਿਵਾਈਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ ਖੰਨਾ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਵੋਟਰ 24 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਉੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਜਾਂ ਅਪੀਲ ਦਾਇਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਾਇਲ ਲਈ ਰਿਵਾਈਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਅਫਸਰ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ ਪਾਇਲ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਸੂਚੀ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ। ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਪੱਛਮੀ, ਸਮਰਾਲਾ, ਰਾਏਕੋਟ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਰਾਉਂ ਦੇ ਸਬ-ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ ਰਿਵਾਈਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਅਫਸਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੋਟਰ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। 

ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਲਈ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਰਿਵਾਈਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਅਫਸਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਮੁੱਲਾਂਪੁਰ ਦਾਖਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮਾਲ ਅਫਸਰ (ਡੀ.ਆਰ.ਓ) ਰਿਵਾਈਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਅਫਸਰ ਹਨ, ਵੋਟਰ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਦੀ ਡੀ.ਆਰ.ਏ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਖੋਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਵੋਟਰ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

 ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ) ਸਿੱਧਵਾਂ ਬੇਟ ਖੇਤਰ ਲਈ ਸੋਧ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੋਟਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਦੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਨੰਬਰ 118 ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਦੋਰਾਹਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸੋਧ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿਜੀਲੈਂਸ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਨੰਬਰ 1 ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ (ਐਮ.ਸੀ) ਦੇ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸੋਧ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ। ਵੋਟਰ ਗਿੱਲ ਰੋਡ 'ਤੇ ਐਮ.ਸੀ ਜ਼ੋਨ-ਸੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਨੰਬਰ 12 ਅਤੇ ਐਮ.ਸੀ ਜ਼ੋਨ-ਏ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ 'ਤੇ ਕਮਰਾ ਨੰਬਰ 72 ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ ਡਰਾਫਟ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

*SGPC elections- Publication of draft voter list on Jan 3*

*Voters can file objections and appeals at office of Revising Officers till Jan 24*

*Ludhiana, January 1*

Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal announced on Wednesday that the draft voter list for the elections of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) will be published on January 3. He explained that this draft voter list has been compiled based on the forms received between October 21, 2023, and December 15, 2024. The list will be available in the offices of the Revising Officers.

Jorwal added that voters have the opportunity to file objections and appeals with the relevant Revising Officers until January 24. 

For the Khanna area, the revising officer is the SDM Khanna, and the draft voter list will be accessible in his office. Voters are encouraged to file any objections or appeals there by January 24. The revising officer for Payal is the SDM Payal, who will also have the draft list available in his office for voters to check and file objections. In the sub-divisions of West, Samrala, Raikot, and Jagraon, the respective SDMs serve as revising officers, and voters can check the draft voter list and file objections in their offices. 

For Ludhiana Rural, the SDM East is the revising officer, and the draft voter list will be available in his office located at the District Administrative Complex. In Mullanpur Dakha, the District Revenue Officer (DRO) is the revising officer; voters can check the draft voter list and file objections in the DRA branch of the District Administrative Complex.

Pakhowal voters can check the draft voter list and file objections at the office of the District Development and Panchayat Officer on the first floor of the District Administrative Complex. 

The Additional District Commissioner (Urban Development) is the revising officer for the Sidhwan Bet area, where voters can check the draft voter list and file objections in room number 118 of the District Administrative Complex.

For voters in the Doraha area, the Regional Transport Officer will serve as the revising officer, and the draft voter list can be checked in room number 1 of the Zila Parishad building, opposite the Vigilance Office. 

Lastly, for Ludhiana South and North voters, the Joint Commissioners of the Municipal Corporation (MC) is the revising officers. Voters can check the draft voter lists and file objections in room number 12 of the MC Zone-C building on Gill Road and room number 72 on the third floor of the MC Zone-A building, respectively.
