2.1. Directorate of Fisheries (ਮੱਛੀ ਪਾਲਣ ਵਿਭਾਗ)

3. ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਜਰਬਾ (Educational Qualification & Experience)

3.1. Junior Engineer (Civil) - Fisheries Department

3.2. Assistant Director Fisheries (ADF)

A critical clarification is provided: The experience in Development and Management of Pisciculture must be obtained from a Government institution (ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਦਾਰਾ) [15]. Additionally, the one-year training in Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture must be from an **ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) recognized Institution** [15]. 3.3. Senior Forensics Supervisor (SFS)
The required qualification includes a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science or equivalent from a Central or State Government recognized university or institution [17]. For the Legal Advisor post, the candidate needs a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) with a minimum of **fifty percent (50%) marks** or equivalent from a recognized institution [18]. 4. ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾ (Age Limit Criteria)
The age limits are calculated as of **01-01-2025** [11].
- General Category: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 37 years [11].
- SC/BC Candidates (Residents of Punjab): Maximum age limit is 42 years [19].

5. ਤਨਖਾਹ ਸਕੇਲ (Pay Scale)

7. ਚੋਣ ਵਿਧੀ (Selection Process and Merit Criteria)
The selection process for these Group-B posts is primarily based on performance in the written examination [27].
- Written Examination: An Objective Type test (Multiple Choice Questions - MCQ) will be conducted for all successfully registered candidates [27].
- Merit List Preparation: The Merit List will be prepared strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination [27].
- Tie-Breaking Criteria: If two or more candidates secure equal marks in the written exam (Merit Tie), the following criteria will be used sequentially [28]:
- The candidate older in age (ਜਨਮ ਮਿਤੀ) will be ranked higher [28].
- If the age is also the same, the percentage marks of the required educational qualification (ਮੰਗੀ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤਤਾ) will be considered [28].
- If both marks and age remain tied, the marks obtained in the **Matriculation exam (ਮੈਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਦੇ ਅੰਕ)** will be considered, and the candidate with higher Matric marks will be placed first [28].
- Counseling/Document Verification: Candidates will be called for document verification (ਕਾਊਂਸਲਿੰਗ) based on the merit list [29]. The number of candidates called will be decided by the Board [29].
