PSEB 12th Class Scheme of Studies 2025-26 Released – Complete Subject List, Marks Distribution & Passing Marks Rules
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially released the Scheme of Studies for Senior Secondary (12th Class) Examination for the Academic Session 2025–26.
Each candidate must appear in a total of seven subjects, which include Compulsory, Elective, and Activity-Based Subjects.
This scheme applies to all schools affiliated with PSEB and outlines subject codes, marks distribution, practical marks, and internal assessment criteria.
A. COMPULSORY SUBJECTS (For All Streams)
Every candidate shall be offered the following compulsory subjects:

It is mandatory to secure a minimum of 33% marks in theory and practical examinations separately.

Computer Science is a compulsory subject, and its evaluation will be done at the Board level.
The result will show both Grades and Marks on the certificate. -
Environmental Education will be evaluated at the school level, and marks will be sent to the Board by schools.

Students who did not study Punjabi at the matriculation level (for example, from boards other than PSEB) can opt for Punjab History and Culture instead of General Punjabi.

Students who have already passed matriculation from PSEB with Punjab History and Culture as a subject can continue the same in Class 12.

Welcome Life (210) is compulsory for all streams.

Passing Marks Rules

Each student must secure at least 33 percent marks in theory and practical separately.

For subjects having internal or project work, only overall aggregate of 33 percent is required to pass.
