Punjab Govt Sets Up Committee to Review DA and Pay Fixation After High Court Petition
Chandigarh, September 17 2025 ( Jobsoftoday )– The Government of Punjab, Department of Finance, has constituted a five-member committee to examine dearness allowance (DA) and pay fixation issues following directions of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in Civil Writ Petition No. 24613 of 2025 (Saurabh Sharma & others Vs State of Punjab & others).
The committee will review the recommendations of an earlier panel regarding the implementation of DA in pre-revised pay scales and will also decide on the fixation of pay scales for the petitioners.

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, 17 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2025 (ਜਾਬਸ ਆਫ ਟੁਡੇ)– ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਗਠਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਿਵਲ ਰਿਟ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਨੰਬਰ 24613 ਆਫ 2025 (ਸੌਰਭ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਆਦਿ ਬਨਾਮ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਆਦਿ) ਵਿੱਚ ਉਠਾਏ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਰੀਵਾਈਜ਼ਡ ਪੇ ਸਕੇਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਭੱਤੇ (DA) ਦੀ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਨਖਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਿਕਸੇਸ਼ਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਅਲੋਕ ਸ਼ੇਖਰ, IAS, ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨਲ ਚੀਫ਼ ਸਕੱਤਰ (ਵਿੱਤ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਨਖਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਭੱਤਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ, ਇਸ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਅਸਰ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
