**Punjab Government Issues Strict Guidelines on Land Mutation and Inquiries**
**Chandigarh, March 25, 2025** – The Punjab government has issued new directives regarding land mutations and pending inquiries. The order, released by the Financial Commissioner (Revenue) and Chief Secretary, emphasizes the timely resolution of land-related matters to ensure efficiency and transparency in the system.
As per the new instructions, unnecessary delays in land mutation cases will not be tolerated. Strict action will be taken against officials responsible for pending inquiries and overdue mutations. The government has adopted a **Zero Tolerance Policy** towards delays in land-related decisions.
All revenue officers have been instructed to conduct meetings with subordinates to ensure that all pending land mutations are resolved by **April 4, 2025**. Failure to comply with these orders may result in strict disciplinary action.
The government aims to streamline the revenue department's functioning and eliminate corruption by enforcing these new measures.

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, 25 ਮਾਰਚ, 2025 - ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਇੰਤਕਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਂਡਿੰਗ ਪੜਤਾਲਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਨਵੇਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਵਿੱਤੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ (ਮਾਲ) ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਇਸ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਪਟਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਸ਼ਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਇੰਤਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਲੋੜੀ ਦੇਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪੈਂਡਿੰਗ ਪੜਤਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਆਦ ਪੁੱਗ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਇੰਤਕਾਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਫੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ਟੌਲਰੈਂਸ ਨੀਤੀ ਅਪਣਾਈ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਲ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੈਂਡਿੰਗ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਇੰਤਕਾਲ 4 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ, 2025 ਤੱਕ ਨਿਪਟਾਏ ਜਾਣ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਫਲ ਰਹਿਣ 'ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਉਪਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਾਲ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
