## Punjab Government Declares Local Holiday on September 4th
**Amritsar, Punjab: The Punjab government has announced a local holiday on Wednesday, September 4th, to commemorate the Gurpurab of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The decision was made in an official notification issued by the Personnel Department.
The holiday will be observed in all government offices, boards, corporations, and educational institutions in the Amritsar district. The notification was signed by Anurag Verma, the Chief Secretary of Punjab.
The government has also directed all concerned departments and officials to take note of the holiday and ensure its implementation.

**ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ( ਜਾਬਸ ਆਫ ਟੁਡੇ) ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਮੌਕੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ, 4 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪਰਸਨਲ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਿਕ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਫਤਰਾਂ, ਬੋਰਡਾਂ, ਨਿਗਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਮਨਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ 'ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
