Punjab Government Extends Deadline for Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APARs)
Chandigarh, July 15, 2024 ( JOBSOFTODAY): The Punjab government has extended the deadline for filing Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APARs) for Group A, B, C, and D category officers and employees. The decision comes in response to requests from various departments and in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The revised deadlines are as follows:
Portal opening for APAR filling: April 1, 2024
Uploading of proforma by cadre controlling authority and initiation of APARs: July 7, 2024 (extended from June 15, 2024)
Filling of APARs by officers/employees and sending to reporting authority/Deputy Commissioner: July 15, 2024 (extended from June 15, 2024)
Deputy Commissioner as reporting authority sending Part-3A and report to departmental reporting authority: July 31, 2024 (extended from June 30, 2024)
Departmental reporting authority completing Part-3A and Part-4 and sending to review authority: August 31, 2024 (extended from July 31, 2024)
Review authority reviewing the report September 15, 2024 (extended from August 15, 2024)
Approving authority approving the report: November 30, 2024 (extended from October 31, 2024)
The government has urged all departments to adhere to the revised timeline and ensure timely submission of APARs.
