Recruitment Details
Punjab National Bank invites applications from Indian citizens for the engagement of apprentices. There are a total of 2700 seats available.

Nationality / Citizenship
Candidates must be citizens of India. Other eligible categories include:
- Subjects of Nepal
- Subjects of Bhutan
- Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc., with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit
Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as of 30.06.2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
Educational Qualification
Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state/UT they are applying for.
Physical / Medical Fitness
Engagement of apprentices will be subject to their being declared medically fit as per the bank's requirements.
Duration of Training
Total duration of training will be one year, which includes 2 weeks of basic training and 50 weeks of on-the-job training.
Stipend / Benefits
Monthly stipend during the training period:
- Rural/Semi-Urban: ₹10,000
- Urban: ₹12,000
- Metro: ₹15,000
Application Process
Candidates need to register online through the bank's website. The application fee must be paid online from 30.06.2024 to 14.07.2024.
Application Fees
Application fees are as follows:
- PWD: ₹400 + 18% GST = ₹472
- Female/SC/ST: ₹600 + 18% GST = ₹708
- General/OBC: ₹800 + 18% GST = ₹944
Note: Fees once paid will not be refunded.
