One time option regarding Pension: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਮਿਊਟਡ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਸਬੰਧੀ 31 ਮਾਰਚ ਤੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸਮਾਂ

Government of Punjab, Department of Finance Pension Policy and Coordination Branch issued notification about extending the deadline for a one-time option for government pensioners who retired between January 1, 2016, and June 30, 2021, to deposit the revised commuted value of their pension in the government treasury.
The deadline has been extended from July 31, 2023, to March 31, 2024. This option is also available to pensioners who retired between these dates and whose pension was revised after June 5, 2023.
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2016 ਤੋਂ 30 ਜੂਨ 2021 ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਸੇਵਾਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਧੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਮਿਊਟਡ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵਿਕਲਪ 31 ਮਾਰਚ 2024 ਤੱਕ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੈ।
According to the letter," Government pensioners, who have retired between 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2021, to deposit the revised commuted value of pension in the Government treasury vide letter mentioned above. This option was available till 31.7.2023.
Now, after considering the grievances of the pensioners, the government has decided to extend the date of one time option to 31.03.2024 for depositing the revised commuted value of pension in the Government treasury for the government pensioners who have retired between 1.1.2016 to 30.6.2021.
This option can also be exercised by those pensioners, who have retired between 1.1.2016 to 30.6.2021 and whose pension is revised by the Accountant General, Punjab after the issuance of above cited instructions dated 05.06.2023.
