Vehicles without High Security Registration Plates (HSRPs) to be black listed/challaned As per Rule 50 of The Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, affixation of HSRP is mandatory for all category of vehicles (Two & Three wheeler, Light Motor Vehicle/Passenger car, Medium & Heavy Commercial vehicle, Trailer, Tractor etc.)
LAST DATE - 30TH JUNE 2023
The list of vehicles registered in Punjab (VAHAN 4.0) pending for HSRP fitment is available on the website, www.punjabtransport.org;
In case of non-compliance by last date, all such vehicles will be Challaned/Blacklisted in Vahan web application.
For other vehicles without HSRP, not available in the above list - Strict challaning drive will be carried out by the Traffic Police & Transport Department, Punjab.
