Punjab Education Department Issues Public Notice for Station Choice of 832 ETT Candidates

The Department of School Education, Punjab, has released an important public notice regarding the station choice process for 832 newly selected candidates under the 2364 ETT (Elementary Teacher Training) recruitment posts.
According to the official notice dated 11 February 2026, the recruitment process was originally initiated through Advertisement No. 06-03-2020. Under this advertisement, 1664 ETT posts were announced. Later, the government approved an additional 700 posts, increasing the total number of vacancies to 2364.
Earlier, appointment letters were issued on 20 January 2026 to eligible candidates selected under the recruitment process. Now, the department has started the online station allotment process for the remaining 832 candidates.
Online Station Choice Dates
The online portal for filling station preferences will remain open from 11 February 2026 to 13 February 2026 till 5:00 PM. Candidates must carefully submit their preferred stations within the given timeframe.
The department has clearly stated that no extension will be provided after the deadline. Candidates who fail to submit their station preferences on time will be allotted stations by the department as per availability and administrative discretion.
Merit-Based Allotment
Station allotment will be carried out strictly on the basis of merit, category reservation rules, and availability of vacant posts. Candidates are advised to carefully review their preferences before final submission.
