Punjab School Education Department Opens e-Punjab Portal for Applications
CHANDIGARH – The Punjab School Education Department has announced the opening of its e-Punjab Portal for the academic session 2025-26, inviting eligible students to apply for various scholarship schemes. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance and encouragement to students across different categories.
Key Scholarship Schemes Available:
- Chief Minister's Scholarship Scheme: A flagship program to support deserving students.
- Encouragement Award for SC Girl Students: Specifically designed for Scheduled Caste girls pursuing 10+2 education (11th and 12th grades).
- Sainik Scholarship Scheme: Exclusively for students enrolled in Sainik School Kapurthala (KPT).
- Attendance Scholarship for SC Primary Girl Students: Targeting girls from Scheduled Castes in grades 1st to 5th.
- Attendance Scholarship for BC/EWS Primary Girl Students: For girls from Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections in grades 1st to 5th.
- 55- Award to SC Sports Students Scheme: For Scheduled Caste students excelling in sports, applicable for grades 6th to 12th.
- General Scholarship Scheme: Available for students in 6th and 9th grades.

- • Portal Opening Date: August 13, 2025
- • Last Date for Online Application Submission: October 08, 2025
- • Last Date for Schools to Approve & Forward Data to Districts: November 03, 2025
- • Last Date for Schools to Correct/Approve Rejections & Forward Data to Districts: November 06, 2025
- • Districts to Approve & Forward Online Data to State: Up to November 15, 2025
All eligible students who are not yet covered under these schemes are strongly encouraged to apply through the e-Punjab Portal. It is crucial to fill in all details accurately and generate the necessary acknowledgment after submission.
