Eligibility Criteria (as of January 1, 2025)

Age Limit:
On January 1, 2025, candidates must have attained 18 years of age and should not be more than 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST & OBC candidates up to a maximum of 5 years as per UP Government norms. Relaxations also apply to permanent government employees and ex-servicemen. Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Nursing Officer: B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing/B.Sc Nursing OR B.Sc. (Post certificate)/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/University, along with registration as Nurse & Midwife. Alternatively, a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery with 2 years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the diploma.
- Junior Accounts Officer: B.Com (55% & above) with Accountancy and 2 years of experience in accounts, plus computer knowledge.
- Technical Officer (CWS Biomedical): Degree in Electronics, Glass Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant engineering branches; OR a 3-year Diploma/Certificate in relevant engineering with five years of experience in fabrication, repair, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist: B.Sc. in Life Science and other science plus a one-year diploma in Medical Radiation and Isotope Techniques (DMRIT) or equivalent. Desirable: One year post-diploma experience in a registered Nuclear Medicine facility.
- Store Keeper: Degree from a recognized University AND a Post-graduate degree/Diploma in Material Management, along with computer knowledge.
- Medical Social Service Officer Gr-II: Master's Degree in Social Work with experience in Welfare or Health Agency, preferably dealing with Medical/Public Health Service. Ability to use computers is desirable.
- Senior Administrative Assistant: Graduate with knowledge of noting & drafting and computer. Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English OR 25 w.p.m. in Hindi, and a minimum of one year experience in a government/public sector/autonomous organization. Bilingual typing proficiency (Hindi and English) is mandatory within probation.
- Stenographer: Graduate with stenography speed of 80 w.p.m. in Hindi OR English and typing speed of 25 w.p.m. in Hindi OR 30 w.p.m. in English on computer/desktop, along with computer application knowledge. Bilingual typing proficiency is mandatory within probation.
- CSSD Asstt.: 10+2 in Science with a Diploma in CSSD, or 3 years of experience in CSSD in a large teaching hospital.
- Draftsman: Matriculation or equivalent and a 2-year Diploma/Certificate in Civil Draughtsmanship from ITI or equivalent, with one year of experience.
- Hospital Attendant Gr-II: 10th Standard Pass. Desirable: Experience in a Civil or Military Hospital, Nursing Home, or with a Medical Practitioner.
- O.T. Assistant: B.Sc. (Anesthesia & Operation Theatre Technologist) or B.Sc. (OT Technology/ B.Sc (Anesthesia Technology) from a recognized University/Institute.

Reservation Policy
Reservation will be applicable as per the policy of the Uttar Pradesh Government. Candidates from reserved categories outside Uttar Pradesh will be treated under the 'UR' (Unreserved) category. EWS certificates valid for 2025-26 (based on financial year 2024-25 income) and domicile/reservation certificates issued by the UP Government for UP Govt. jobs (latest and verifiable online) will be considered. For female candidates, the caste certificate issued from the father's side will be valid.
Vertical Reservation: SC-21%, ST-2%, OBC-27%, EWS-10%.
Horizontal Reservation: Divyang-4%, Ex-Serviceman-5%, Dependents of Freedom Fighters-2%, Female gender-20%.

- Upon successful registration, you will receive a password on your mobile and a user ID on your email.
- Sign in as an "Existing User" with your credentials to fill out the application form (Personal, Communication, Qualification Details, Document Upload, and Payment).
- Upload all mandatory documents (photograph, signature, certificates).
- Carefully review all details before final submission as editing/deletion will not be possible afterward.
- Deposit the non-refundable application fee via online modes (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking) through the State Bank of India payment gateway.
- After successful submission and fee payment, you can view your complete application and should take a printout for future reference, noting the Application Sequence Number.
Applicants in regular employment must submit a "NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE" from their employers.
Selection Process
The selection will primarily be based on the marks obtained in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) only.
Common Recruitment Test (CRT):
- The CRT will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) held in major cities across India.
- The test will be objective in nature, assessing aptitude and domain-specific knowledge.
- The medium of the exam will be English only, except for Group D posts.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for General (Unreserved), EWS, OBC; 45% for SC & ST.
- The detailed scheme, pattern, and syllabus will be uploaded separately on the SGPGI website.
- In case of multiple shifts, normalization formula will be applicable. (Refer to Annexure-1 for details on Normalization).
Skill Test/Technical Examination:
A Skill Test/Technical Examination will be conducted for posts like Stenographer and Senior Administrative Assistant. Candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio determined by the Competent Authority based on CRT merit. This test will be qualifying in nature, and its marks will not be counted in the final selection procedure. The final selection will be based solely on CRT marks for those who qualify the Skill Test.
Final Merit List:
The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the CRT for all categories separately. Tie-breaking rules will consider total marks, date of birth (older candidate preferred), number of wrong answers (fewer wrong answers preferred), total marks in the 'core' section, and application number (earlier application preferred).
Important Notes:
- No hard copies of applications are required to be sent by post.
- Call letters/admit cards will be downloadable from the Institute's website.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in tests/interviews.
