Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements for the respective courses:
- Bachelors in Medical Laboratory Science: 10+2 with Biology or Vocational course in MLS/MLT, minimum 50% aggregate, or a three-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- B.Sc. Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or a 2.5-year Diploma in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology with 50% aggregate.
- B.Sc. Radiotherapy Technology: 10+2 with 50% in Science subjects or a Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology.
- B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology: 10+2 with 50% in PCB/Mathematics or a Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology.
- B.Sc. Medical Technology (Perfusionist): 10+2 with PCB and English.
- B.Sc. Embalming and Mortuary Sciences: 10+2 with PCB, English, and General Knowledge.
- Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP): 10+2 with 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology.
- B.Sc. Medical Technology (Dialysis Therapy Technology): 10+2 with 50% in PCM/B or a Diploma in Dialysis Therapy Technology.
- Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom): 10+2 with 60% in PCB/Mathematics or a Diploma in Optometry.
- Bachelors of Physiotherapy: 10+2 with 50% in PCB.
- B.Sc. Health Information Management: 10+2 with 55% in PCB or a Diploma in Health Information Management with 50%.
- Bachelor of Public Health (BPH): 10+2 or equivalent, or completion of specific health-related courses like ANM or Health Inspector.
- B.Sc. Medical Animation and Audio-Visual Creation: 10+2 or equivalent.
Age Limit: Most courses require candidates to be between 17 and 25 years as of September 1, 2025, except for Radiotherapy Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Health Information Management, and Medical Animation (up to 30 years).
Application Process
The application process for PGIMER 2025 is entirely online. Follow these steps:
- Registration: Visit www.pgimer.edu.in, click on the relevant exam link, and complete the registration form with personal details.
- Login: Use the User ID and Password received via email/SMS to log in and fill out the application form.
- Upload Documents: Upload a scanned photograph (with a placard showing name and date) and signature as per specifications.
- Fee Payment: Pay the application fee via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking. Fees are non-refundable.
- Confirmation: Download and print the confirmation page after submission.

- General/OBC/Sponsored: ₹1500 + Transaction Charges
- SC/ST: ₹1200 + Transaction Charges

Entrance Exam Details
The selection process involves a Computer-Based Test (CBT) scheduled for August 2, 2025. The exam duration is 90 minutes, with objective-type questions based on the 10+2 syllabus. The structure varies by course:
- For Courses 1-4 & 9: Chemistry (25 marks), Physics (25 marks), Math/Biology (25 marks), General English (15 marks), General Knowledge/Current Affairs (10 marks).
- For Courses 5, 6, & 10: Chemistry (25 marks), Physics (25 marks), Biology (25 marks), General English (15 marks), General Knowledge/Current Affairs (10 marks).
Test Cities: Ambala, Chandigarh, Kangra, Delhi (NCR), Bilaspur, Amritsar, Shimla, Hamirpur, Patiala, Jalandhar.
Reservation Policy
PGIMER follows the Government of India’s reservation policies:
- SC/ST/OBC: Reservations are provided as per guidelines. Candidates must submit valid caste certificates at counselling.
- PwBD: 5% of seats are reserved on a horizontal basis for candidates with benchmark disabilities (minimum 40% disability), certified by a Medical Board.
