The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened a final correction window for Class 10 and 12 students ahead of the 2025 board exam results. With over 51 lakh students participating in this year’s exams, this opportunity is crucial to ensure the accuracy of student records.

Correction Window Deadline: April 17, 2025

CBSE has instructed all affiliated schools to verify and, if necessary, update the personal information of their registered students by April 17, 2025. After this date, no further changes will be allowed.

Details That Can Be Corrected

• Correction or change in the names of parents
• Spelling and format corrections as per official documents
• Date of birth and caste-related updates (as per CBSE norms)
• Photograph replacement
• Update in ‘Single Child’ status
• Gender correction

Note: Requests for change in category (General, SC, OBC, etc.) will not be entertained.

Correction Fee Structure

For each change, a non-refundable processing fee of ₹1000 per student must be paid. The payment must be deposited to the CBSE through the respective schools only.
