ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, 5 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2024 ( ਜਾਬਸ ਆਫ ਟੁਡੇ) ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਕੀ ਸਕੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਕੀ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਰ ਅਦਾਇਗੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਜਾਂ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਫੰਡ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧੀਆ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ 5 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਇਹ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਇਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਵਨ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਇਨਾਮ ਮਾਲੀਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਲੀਆ ਵਸੂਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਕੀ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਏ।
Punjab Government to Honor Top-Performing Administrative Secretary IAS KRISHN KUMAR
Chandigarh, December 5 2024: The Government of Punjab has announced a new initiative to recognize and reward exceptional performance among administrative secretaries. A monthly award will be presented to the secretary who demonstrates the highest level of performance in either increasing tax revenue collections or effectively utilizing government grants.
The first such award ceremony was scheduled for December 5, 2024, at 12:30 PM in Punjab Bhawan, Sector 3, Chandigarh. The event was chaired by the Finance Minister of Punjab.
Sh. Krishan Kumar, IAS Financial Commissioner Taxation-cum-Principal Secretary Water Resources, will be the recipient of the inaugural award. His unwavering dedication and exceptional efforts have resulted in a significant increase in the state's revenue collections.
All Special Chief Secretaries, Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Administrative Secretaries of the Government of Punjab have been requested to attend the award ceremony in person.
