LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation is pleased to announce Scholarships on All India Basis to students who have passed Std. Xth / XIlth / Diploma or equivalent examinations with minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22, 2022-23 or 2023-24 and have taken First Year admission in the academic year 2024-25.
Types of Scholarships
The scheme offers two types of scholarships:
- General Scholarships for Boys & Girls pursuing higher studies in:
- (i) Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Diploma Course in any field or Integrated Courses.
- (ii) Vocational Course through Government Recognized Colleges/ Institutes or Courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).
- Special Scholarships for Girl Child for two years pursuing studies in:
- (i) Class XI & XII / Intermediate under 10+2 Pattern.
- (ii) Diploma course in any field for two years after Xth.

Eligibility
After Class 12th (XII):
1. All candidates who have passed Class XII exam (or its equivalent – Regular/Vocational) / Diploma with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24,
2. Have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 for pursuing first year degree course in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), and
3. Have parents/guardian with an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,50,000 per annum (please refer clause 7 (ii) – for relaxation)..
b) – After Class 10th (X):
1. All candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24, and
2. Have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 for pursuing first year education in the field of Vocational / Diploma Courses through Govt. recognized colleges/institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI), and
3. Have parents/guardian with an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,50,000 per annum.
For Special Girl Child Scholar
Female Candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021- 2022/2022-23/2023-24, and
2. Have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 for pursuing higher studies in the first year of Intermediate/10 + 2 pattern/ Vocational or Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) for two years, and
3. Have parents/guardian with an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs. 2,50,000 per annum.
RATE OF SCHOLARSHIP
a) An amount of Rs.40,000/- per annum, will be awarded to the selected Scholar who pursues higher education in the field of Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS) and shall be payable every year in two instalments Rs.20000/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
b) An amount of Rs.30,000/- per annum, will be awarded to the selected Scholar who pursues higher education in the field of Engineering (BE, BTECH, BArch) and shall be payable every year in two instalments of Rs.15000/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
c) An amount of Rs.20,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected Scholars who pursues education in the field of Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and shall be payable every year in two instalments of Rs.10000/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
Special Scholarship for Girl Child
An amount of Rs. 15,000/- per annum will be awarded to selected Girl Child for Special Scholarship after class 10th for pursuing higher studies in Intermediate/10 + 2 pattern/ Vocational or Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) for two years and shall be payable every year in two instalments ofRs.7500/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
