Office of District and Session Judge Jobs in Amritsar
Introduction
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 54 posts of Clerks on an adhoc basis in the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Amritsar. The initial appointment will be for a period of six months or until the regular appointment is made by the Hon'ble High Court. The appointment will be on a consolidated monthly salary equal to the minimum wages rates fixed by the Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar, or as per the instructions/clarification received from the Government of Punjab as well as the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, from time to time.

Educational Qualification
1. B.A. or B.Sc. or equivalent thereto from a recognized University.
2. The candidate should have passed Punjabi Language as a subject in Matriculation Examination or its equivalent standard and having proficiency in the operation of Computers.
Pay Scale
The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary equal to the minimum wages rates fixed by the Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar from time to time or as per the instructions/clarification received from the Government of Punjab as well as the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, from time to time.
Age
The candidate should be between 18 to 37 years of age as of 01.07.2024. Relaxation shall be admissible as per the norms of the Punjab Government.

Additional Instructions
1. The number of posts may be increased or decreased by adopting due process at any time before the selection process is complete without giving any prior notice to the candidates.
2. For administrative reasons, the competent authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation, and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without any prior notice to the candidates, by adopting due process.
3. Applications giving full details along with two recent passport-size photographs and attested copies of relevant testimonials (proof of Qualification, Date of Birth, category to which he/she belongs, etc.) must be attached with the application and should reach this office before 5:00 PM on 12.08.2024. No application will be entertained thereafter. This office will not be responsible for any postal delay or wrong delivery, whatsoever. Incomplete applications as well as the applications received after 05:00 PM on 12.08.2024, either by post or otherwise shall not be entertained.
4. The selection shall be made by conducting a written test (General Knowledge and English Composition). No candidate shall be considered for appointment unless he obtains 40% marks in aggregate in the written examination and has proficiency in the operation of computers.
5. All candidates must get their original testimonials with them at the time of the interview/test. No T.A/D.A will be paid to the candidates appearing for the test/interview, and no separate information regarding the interview will be given.
6. In case of cancellation/postponement of the interview for the aforesaid post due to administrative reasons, this office will not be responsible.
7. Merely satisfying the eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be selected. This Court reserves the right to alter/modify or change any of the terms and conditions including selection criteria etc. spelt out in the advertisement.
8. In case no candidate from the reserved category is available or qualifies for selection to the above-mentioned posts, then the appointment shall be made from the General Category.
