Punjab Government Announces Interest Rate for GPF and CPF Accounts
The Punjab government has announced a 7.1% interest rate for the first quarter (April 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024) of the financial year 2024-25 on the General Provident Fund (GPF), Contributory Provident Fund (CPF), and other similar funds for government employees.
The order issued by the Finance Department of the Punjab government on June 13, 2024. A copy of the order has been sent to the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries/Additional Chief Secretaries, Financial Commissioner, Secretaries of all departments, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Registrar, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, and Secretary, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Chandigarh.
