Chandigarh Department of Higher Education Announces Online Admissions for Centralized Courses
The Department of Higher Education (DHE) has released a new online admission notice for the academic year 2024-25. The notice states that the online admission procedures are now available for graduate programs offered by Chandigarh Administration colleges.
Important Dates
- * Start of Submission of Online Admission Forms: June 13, 2024 (Thursday) by 1:00 PM
- * Last date for Online Submission of Admission Forms for all Centralized Courses: July 1, 2024 (Monday) by 5:00 PM
- Display of List of all Applicants: July 2, 2024 (Tuesday) by 5:00 PM
- Reporting of Discrepancies by applicants to SPIC: July 4, 2024 (Thursday) by 5:00 PM
- Display of provisional list of all Eligible Candidates: July 8, 2024 (Monday) by 5:00 PM
- Display of provisional list of Applicants who have been allotted colleges: July 10, 2024 (Wednesday) by 2:00 PM
Online Admission Schedule
* General Category:
1st Online Admission Schedule: July 12, 2024 (Friday) at 10:00 AM onwards
2nd Online Admission Schedule: July 18, 2024 (Thursday) at 10:00 AM onwards
* Reserve Categories and Over & Above Seats (Additional Seats):
1st Online Admission Schedule: July 13, 2024 (Saturday) at 10:00 AM onwards
2nd Online Admission Schedule: July 19, 2024 (Friday) at 10:00 AM onwards
Important Points
- Admissions will be done at the College Level for the vacant seats left in each course from July 20, 2024 (Saturday) onwards.
- Admission to all centralized courses in all city colleges will be done online through the DHE website [http://dhe.chd.gov.in/](http://dhe.chd.gov.in/).
* There will be no offline mode for submission of application forms.
- Admissions to B.A. I/B.Sc. I/B.P.Ed. I as per NEP 2020 framework and PG Courses (M.A. I/M.Com I/M.Sc. I/M.P.Ed. IVPG Diplomas) are non-centralized and will be done by respective colleges.
- * The applicant has to clear the discrepancy (if any) before the 1st Online Centralized Admission Schedule on July 11, 2024 (Thursday) at the College level through their respective login at DHE website [http://dhe.chd.gov.in/](http://dhe.chd.gov.in/).
All admissions will be done online and there will be no physical counselling.
