Teacher at Chauhan Nagar Primary School placed under suspension

ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਸਾ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਬਾਲਗ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਸ਼ਲੀਲ ਹਰਕਤਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਚੌਥੀ ਜਮਾਤ 'ਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੀਆਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ 'ਤੇ ਛੇੜਛਾੜ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਸੀ।
A teacher at Chauhan Nagar Primary School in Sirsa has been placed under suspension. The teacher, Sh. Balbir Singh, is accused of violating the POCSO Act.
According to the order suspending Singh, he will be entitled to a subsistence allowance during the suspension period. The order also states that Singh must get permission from the Block Education Officer before leaving his headquarters.
The POCSO Act, or the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, is a law in India that was enacted to protect children from sexual assault. The law defines sexual assault as any touching or penetration of a child's body, or any other act that involves sexual exploitation or abuse.
