ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦੇ ਹਲਕੇ ਝਟਕੇ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ

ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਕਟਰ ਪੈਮਾਨੇ 'ਤੇ 3.2 ਦੀ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦੇ ਝਟਕੇ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਸਿਰਸਾ ਦੀ ਮੰਡੀ ਡੱਬਵਾਲੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੀ।
ਸ਼ਾਮ ਕਰੀਬ 6.10 ਵਜੇ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦੇ ਝਟਕੇ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਝਟਕੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਲੋਕ ਘਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਗਏ। ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੋਂ 10 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸੀ।
ਹੇਠਲੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦੇ ਝਟਕੇ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ:
- * ਸਿਰਸਾ (ਹਰਿਆਣਾ)
- * ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੰਗਾਨਗਰ (ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ)
- * ਹਨੂੰਮਾਨਗੜ੍ਹ (ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ)
- * ਅਬੋਹਰ (ਪੰਜਾਬ)
- *ਬਠਿੰਡਾ (ਪੰਜਾਬ)
- * ਮਾਨਸਾ (ਪੰਜਾਬ)
ਇਹ ਨੋਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਖੇਤਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਜ਼ੋਨਿੰਗ ਨਕਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਜ਼ੋਨ 2 ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ੋਨ 2 ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਹਨ, ਜ਼ੋਨ 2, ਜ਼ੋਨ 3, ਜ਼ੋਨ 4 ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਨ 5। ਜ਼ੋਨ 5 ਭੂਚਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਖਤਰਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਹੈ।
- ਜ਼ੋਨ 5: ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦੀ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ (ਗੂੜ੍ਹਾ ਲਾਲ)
- ਜ਼ੋਨ 4: ਉੱਚ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦੀ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ (ਸੰਤਰੀ)
- ਜ਼ੋਨ 3: ਮੱਧਮ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦੀ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ (ਪੀਲਾ)
- ਜ਼ੋਨ 2: ਘੱਟ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਦੀ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ (ਹਲਕਾ ਨੀਲਾ)
ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਰੋਹਤਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਜ਼ੋਨ 4 ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਹਿਸਾਰ ਜ਼ੋਨ 3 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Mild earthquake tremors felt in Haryana and Punjab on Thursday evening
An earthquake tremor measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Haryana and Punjab on Thursday evening. The epicentre of the earthquake was near Mandi Dabwali in Sirsa, which is bordering the border of Punjab.
The tremors were felt at around 6.10 pm and people rushed out of their homes due to the shaking. The epicentre was 10 kilometres below the ground.
Following areas felt the tremors:
- Sirsa (Haryana)
- Sri Ganganagar (Rajasthan)
- Hanumangarh (Rajasthan)
- Abohar (Punjab)
- Bathinda (Punjab)
- Mansa (Punjab)
It is important to note that this region falls under Zone 2 of the seismic zoning map of India. Zone 2 is considered to be a low-intensity earthquake zone. There are four seismic zones in India, namely Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4, and Zone 5. Zone 5 is the zone with the highest risk of earthquakes.
- Zone 5: Very high seismic intensity (dark red)
- Zone 4: High seismic intensity (orange)
- Zone 3: Moderate seismic intensity (yellow)
- Zone 2: Low seismic intensity (light blue)
In Haryana, Rohtak district bordering Delhi falls under Zone 4, while Hisar falls under Zone 3.
