ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਸਕੀਮ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ ਜ਼ੋਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਹਰੇਕ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ TiE-Con ਸਟਾਰਟਅੱਪ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ," ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਬੱਚਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਦੀ ਭੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਯੋਜਨਾ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਕੁਝ ਦਫਤਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 8 ਵਜੇ, ਕੁਝ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9 ਵਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਵੇਰੇ 10 ਵਜੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਬੰਦ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।"
Punjab to Divide Government Offices into Three Zones with Flexible Working Hours
The Punjab government is planning to implement a scheme with flexible working hours for government offices. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced this during a speech at the TiE-Con Startup event in Chandigarh.

The plan involves dividing offices into three zones, each with different start and end times. Some offices would start at 8 am, some at 9 am and some at 10 am. Closing times would also vary accordingly.
The government believes this scheme will lead to several benefits:
- Reduced electricity consumption in government offices.
- Less traffic congestion on roads during peak hours.
