ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ 31 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2023 ਦੀ ਰਾਤ ਤੋਂ 02 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2024 ਦੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਤੱਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ 03 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਜਤਾਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬਿਜ਼ੀਬਿਲਟੀ 50 ਮੀਟਰ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਘੱਟ ਰਹੇਗੀ।
ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ 31 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2023 ਅਤੇ 01 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2024 ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਡੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਜਤਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ (00 ਮੀਟਰ), ਪਟਿਆਲਾ (40 ਮੀਟਰ), ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ ( 0 ਮੀਟਰ ), ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ 50 ਮੀਟਰ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਵਿਜਿਵਿਲਿਟੀ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਹੀਕਲਜ਼ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀ ਵਰਤਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

Fog observed (at 0830 hrs IST of today): Dense to Very Dense fog reported from many places in Punjab and few places in Haryana. Severe cold day conditions occurred at isolated places in Punjab and Haryana and cold day conditions occurred at few places in Haryana and Punjab.
Visibility recorded (at 0830 hrs IST of today) (Less than 50m): In Punjab districts Amritsar (00 m), Patiala (40 m), Pathankot (0m), Gurdaspur less than 50m visibility reported. In Haryana districts Ambala (20m), Chandigarh (15m).
