PRINCIPAL TRAINING AT SINGAPUR NEW ELIGIBILITY 

In order to achieve the goal of improved principals' professional development through training institutes abroad through the Department of School Education, the condition of having experience of minimum 5 years has been relaxed from 5 to 2 years for aspiring principals. 

The cut-off date for counting experience will be 31 January 2023. 

It is further conveyed that candidates who have been found ineligible on the earlier condition of minimum experience of 5 years need not apply again as they will be considered to be eligible as per the relaxed criteria. 

The portal for applying for foreign trainings with the relaxed condition will be open till 20th January, 2023.

 However it is also clarified here that the condition of remaining 5 years of service to be eligible for training is kept unchanged.
