METEOROLOGICAL CENTRE, CHANDIGARH IMD CHANDIGARH announced an alert for the Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala, SAS Nagar Sangrur Districts .
In the press release IMD said
"Light to moderate rain with thunderstorm/ lightning and gusty wind (30-40kmph) likely to continue over,
Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala, SAS Nagar Sangrur Districts and adjoining areas during next 2-3 hours"
ਆਈਐਮਡੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ
"ਅਗਲੇ 2-3 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਜ਼-ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ/ਬਿਜਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾ (30-40kmph) ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਲਕੀ ਤੋਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ"
