Ensure exemplary stern action against accused, security of Education Officers, demands GESSA.

While strongly condemning the shoe garlanding of Lakhbir Singh Samra, District Education Officer( Secondary), Ludhiana, the district unit of Gazetted Employees School Services Association(GESSA), Punjab has demanded immediate stern action against the accused as well as to ensure security of the Education Officer to thwart such incidents in future.

District President GESSA, Principal Ranjit Kaur, Vice President, GESSA, Principal Rajneesh Kumar, treasurer, Principals Paramjit Kaur, Aruna Pathak, Rajan Bhardwaj, Vijay Kumar, Principal Amarjit Khatkar, District President, Gazetted - Non Gazetted SC/BC Employees Union, Punjab in a press statement here today said that the government and district administration must come forward to boost the morale of the education officers by initiating exemplary stern action against the accused.
District Education Officer(Secondary), Kulwinder Singh Sarai, District Education Officer( Primary), Harkanwajit Singh, Deputy District Education Officer(Secondary), Amrik Singh have urged the government to ensure security of the education officers as such unscrupulous elements could also pose danger to them with weapons and explosives.
