Agriculture Minister Kaka Randeep Singh Nabha got rousing welcome from the residents of his ancestral place after reaching here as a Cabinet Minister. He said, "His head always bows and heart beats for the people of his ancestral and birth place Nabha and his constituency Amloh for showering a lot of love and affection on him".
Interacting with media, he said that we are working on a vision document to bail out the farming community from the present distress state and to mkae the agriculture profession more profitable. "We will solicit cooperation of progressive farmers and other stakeholders having good knowledge of farming to frame this document", said Minister Randeep Singh Nabha by adding that present time is a trying time for whole of the farming community as they have been facing the wrath of indifferent behaviour of Center Government due to the black laws being enacted to benefit a few of companies on the one hand while struggling with their poor agricultural economy on the other hand.
On being asked upon the fate of sacrilege incident accused of Bargari, he said that the perpetrators of the Sacrilege Incident would not be Spared. Reiterating commitment of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to bring the result in this case in the coming days, he said that the people of Punjab would see an important development in this case with in a month.
He said though we have a short stint of working but we, the whole cabinet of Punjab, assure the people of Punjab that we would not disappoint them and they would definitely repose in us by choosing Congress Government again in Punjab in 2022.
Earlier, Agricultural Minister S. Randeep Singh Nabha was given a guard of honour by the district police. Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit, SSP Dr Sandeep Garg, SDM Ms Kanu Garg and DSP Nabha Rajesh Chhiber were also present there to welcome the cabinet minister.
He also vows to follow the footprints of his late father Sardar Gurdarahan Singh by paying homage on his memorial. He promised to meet Nabha residents each weekend to sort out their problems.
