Jalandhar: Schools and Colleges to Close Early on November 22
The Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Jalandhar, has issued an official order announcing the early closure of all educational institutions on Friday, November 22, 2025. This directive has been issued in view of a major function being organized in the city to mark the 350th Martyrdom day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
According to the order, all government and private educational institutions, including schools and colleges located within the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation limits, will remain closed after 12:00 PM (noon) on November 22, 2025. Authorities have been asked to ensure strict compliance with the instructions.
The order was released under Diary No. 260-65 on November 19, 2025.
