Delhi Red Fort Area Blast, Red Alert Issued in Punjab and Many States
New Delhi 10 November ( Jobsoftoday) : A shocking incident took place in the national capital Delhi on Monday evening. According to the information received, a powerful blast occurred near Gate No. 1 of Red Fort Metro Station. The blast took place inside a car which created panic in the entire area.
According to the initial reports, at least 9 people have lost their lives in this incident and many others are seriously injured. The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The blast was so powerful that the car got completely damaged. Some nearby vehicles also caught fire. Glass panels of the metro station building were also shattered due to the impact of the blast.
As soon as the incident was reported, Delhi Police, Fire Brigade and other security teams rushed to the spot. The area has been completely sealed. Teams of NIA, NSG and Forensic experts are also investigating the blast site to find out the cause and nature of the explosion.

After this incident, high alert has been declared in Delhi. Security has been tightened in several states including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. People have been advised to remain alert and immediately inform the police if they notice any suspicious activity.
Whether this was a terrorist attack or some other accidental explosion is not yet confirmed officially. However, security agencies are investigating all possible angles of the incident.
