SCERT Punjab Announces IIM Ahmedabad Training for School Headmasters
Two batches (50+50) to attend 5-day leadership program; applications open August 18–25, 2025
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab has initiated the selection process to nominate 100 school headmasters for leadership training at IIM Ahmedabad during the 2025–26 session, to be conducted in two batches of 50 each.
Training Schedule
- Batch 1: November 3–7, 2025 (5 days)
- Batch 2: December 15–19, 2025 (5 days)
Preliminary Eligibility
- Age: 53 years or below as on June 30, 2025.
- Service Status: Regular employee of School Education Department, Punjab, with probation cleared and services confirmed.
- Vigilance/Cases: No charge sheet, criminal case, or pending inquiry; not under any punishment.
How to Apply
- Portal: Apply via e-Punjab ID (training link).
- Window: August 18–25, 2025 (till 5:00 PM).
- Verification: By District Education Officer (Secondary) between August 26–28, 2025.
After preliminary screening, eligible applicants will be assessed on secondary criteria (ACRs, academic qualifications, experience, awards, and contributions to quality education) to prepare the final merit.
Selection & Batches
A merit list of 100 candidates will be prepared. The first 50 on merit will attend the November batch and the next 50 will attend the December batch.
