ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, 26 ਅਗਸਤ, 2025 – ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ (IMD), ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ, ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪੰਜ-ਦਿਨਾਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ-ਵਾਰ ਮੌਸਮ ਦੀ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਇਹ ਸਲਾਹ, ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ, ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਰੁਕਾਵਟਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਹੜ੍ਹ, ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖਿਸਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ 'ਤੇ ਪੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਰਗੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਅਰਥਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮਾਨਸੂਨ ਦੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਝੋਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਣਕ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਖਮ ਵੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ 26 ਅਗਸਤ ਤੋਂ 30 ਅਗਸਤ, 2025 ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰੇਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਲਈ ਸੰਭਾਵਿਤ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਖਤਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਰੰਗ-ਕੋਡਿਡ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। IMD ਦੇ ਮਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, "ਭਾਰੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼" ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 64.5 mm ਤੋਂ 115.5 mm ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ "ਭਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼" ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ 115.6 mm ਤੋਂ 204.4 mm ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਭਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਆ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਰੇਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ 0830 ਘੰਟੇ IST (ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸਮਾਂ) ਤੋਂ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ 0830 ਘੰਟੇ IST ਤੱਕ ਵੈਧ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਰੰਗ-ਕੋਡਿਡ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ:
- ਹਰਾ (ਕੋਈ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ): ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮੌਸਮੀ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ; ਆਮ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
- ਪੀਲਾ (ਅਪਡੇਟ ਰਹੋ): ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਗੜ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ; ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਚੈਨਲਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਰਹੋ।
- ਸੰਤਰੀ (ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹੋ): ਖਰਾਬ ਮੌਸਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ; ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ, ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਕਰੋ, ਅਤੇ ਬੇਲੋੜੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਚੋ।

ਦਿਨ 1: 26 ਅਗਸਤ, 2025 – ਕੇਂਦਰੀ-ਦੱਖਣੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਲ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਅਲਰਟ
ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਘੱਟ-ਦਬਾਅ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਰਾਜ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਨਸੂਨ ਦੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਲਾਲ ਅਲਰਟ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਹਨ:
- ਮਾਲੇਰਕੋਟਲਾ (ਭਾਰੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਲਾਲ ਜ਼ੋਨ)।
ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੰਤਰੀ ਅਲਰਟ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਵਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ:
- ਸੰਗਰੂਰ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, ਬਰਨਾਲਾ, ਮਾਨਸਾ, ਬਠਿੰਡਾ, ਅਤੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸੇ।

ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਕਮੀ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹਰੇ (ਕੋਈ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ) ਹੇਠ ਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਸੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਬਾਕੀ ਬਚੀ ਨਮੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੂਰਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਲੱਗ-ਥਲੱਗ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਦਿਨ 2 ਵਾਂਗ, ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਹਰੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਪੂਰਬ ਤੋਂ ਨਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਮੂਲੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਖਿੰਡਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਿਆ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
