Overview
The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran invites applications for the post of Clerk (Adhoc) in the Sessions Division. The engagement is initially for six months or until regular appointments, whichever is earlier. Applications must be submitted OFFLINE on the prescribed proforma by 20 August 2025, 5:00 PM.

Eligibility
- Education: BA/BSc or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Language: Punjabi as a subject in Matriculation.
- Computer: Basic computer proficiency required.
- Age: 18–37 years as on 01.08.2025; relaxations as per rules.
Selection & Exam Pattern
- Written Test (100 marks):
- General Knowledge – Objective (50)
- English – Objective (20)
- English Composition – Subjective (30)
Qualifying criteria: minimum 33% in each subject and 40% aggregate.
- Computer Proficiency Test: Qualifying in nature for candidates who clear the written test.
How to Apply (Offline)
- Download the prescribed proforma (Annexure-A) from the Sessions Division website.
- Fill the form in CAPITAL letters and sign it.
- Attach self-attested copies of DOB, educational certificates, identity/category proof, and two passport photos.
- Submit by post/hand to the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran so as to reach before the deadline.
- Superscribe the envelope: “Application for the post of Clerk on Adhoc basis”.
No TA/DA for tests. Exam schedule will be posted on the official website only.
