Mother Dairy Announces Milk Price Hike Effective April 30, 2025
New Delhi, April 29, 2025: Mother Dairy has announced a revision in the prices of its liquid milk variants by up to ₹2 per litre, effective from April 30, 2025. The company cited a significant rise in procurement costs, which have increased by ₹4–5 per litre over the past few months, as the primary reason for the hike.
"This price revision has been necessitated to address the surge in procurement costs, driven by the early onset of summer and heatwave conditions. We remain committed to ensuring consistent availability of quality milk while supporting our farmers. This revision represents only a partial pass-through of the increased costs, balancing the interests of both farmers and consumers."
