ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 13 ਫਰਵਰੀ–(ਜਾਬਸ ਆਫ ਟੁਡੇ) ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਢਲੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲਾਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਇਮਰੀ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ (BPEOs) ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਘਾਟ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਭਗ 41% ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਪਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਘਾਟ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਸੀਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਸੰਕਟ ਪੂਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹਨ। ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਬੈਂਸ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਰੋਪੜ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਅਛੂਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ BPEO ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ 90% ਖਾਲੀ ਹੈ। ਇਥੇ 10 ਬੀਪੀਈਓ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਸਿਰਫ 1 ਬੀਪੀਈਓ ਅਸਾਮੀ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।ਹੋਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਘਾਟ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਨ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ, ਬਠਿੰਡਾ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ। ਹਰੇਕ BPEO ਲਗਭਗ 50 ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਖਾਲੀ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹਨ।
