IAS TRANSFER: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਈਏਐਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਤਬਾਦਲੇ, 
Chandigarh, 4 August 2024 
The Government of Punjab has announced a major administrative reshuffle, effective immediately, involving the transfer and posting of several senior IAS officers. Shri Alok Shekhar, IAS (1994), will now serve as Additional Chief Secretary, Jails, and Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development & Fisheries. Shri Tejveer Singh, IAS (1994), is appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Local Government, while retaining his roles in the Industries and Commerce, and Information Technology departments.



 Shri Ajoy Sharma, IAS (1999), takes over as Principal Secretary, Tourism and Cultural Affairs, and Financial Commissioner, Forests & Wildlife Preservation. Shri Rahul Tiwari, IAS (2000), will now manage Housing and Urban Development, and assume the role of Administrative Secretary, Power.

Shri Kumar Rahul, IAS (2000), shifts to Administrative Secretary, Health and Family Welfare. Smt. Gurpreet Kaur Sapra, IAS (2005), becomes Secretary, Personnel, and Secretary, General Administration and Coordination, and Secretary, Vigilance. Shri Dilraj Singh, IAS (2005), is appointed Administrative Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayats.

 Shri Amit Dhaka, IAS (2006), retains his role as Administrative Secretary, Planning. Shri Pardeep Kumar, IAS (2007), becomes Commissioner, Jalandhar Division. 

Additionally, Shri Vikas Pratap, IAS (1994), and Smt. Shruti Singh, IAS (2004), continue in their respective roles. This reshuffle is aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency across the state.
