Punjab Government Announces Interest Rate on Provident Funds
Chandigarh, August 13, 2024: The Punjab government has declared an interest rate of 7.1% on General Provident Fund (GPF), Contributory Provident Fund (CPF), and other similar funds for the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25, covering the period from July 1 to September 30, 2024.
The notification is issued by the Finance Department of the Punjab government and will impact all government employees contributing to these funds.

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, 13 ਅਗਸਤ, 2024: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਮ ਪ੍ਰੋਵੀਡੈਂਟ ਫੰਡ (ਜੀਪੀਐਫ), ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਵੀਡੈਂਟ ਫੰਡ (ਸੀਪੀਐਫ) ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫੰਡਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਾਲ 2024-25 ਦੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਤਿਮਾਹੀ ਲਈ 7.1% ਦੀ ਵਿਆਜ ਦਰ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦਰ 1 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਤੋਂ 30 ਸਤੰਬਰ, 2024 ਤੱਕ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ( ਜਾਬਸ ਆਫ ਟੁਡੇ)
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਇਸ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
