1. Introduction

ITBP Head Constable Education Recruitment 2024 Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has announced recruitment for the post of Head Constable (Education & Stress Counselor) for the year 2024. Eligible male and female Indian citizens (including those from Nepal and Bhutan) are invited to apply for these positions online.

3. Pay Scale

Pay and Allowances for ITBP HEAD CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT 2024

Pay Scale: Level-4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 25,500 - 81,100) as per the 7th CPC.

Other Allowances: Includes Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Special Compensatory Allowance, free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Free Medical Facilities, etc.

4. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications and Age Limit:

Age Limit: Between 20 to 25 years.

Educational Qualification:

• Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Psychology as a subject.
• Or, Degree from a recognized University with Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent.

Physical Standards:

Height:

• Male: 170 cms
• Female: 157 cms
• Relaxations as per category and region.

Chest (for Male candidates only):

• Unexpanded: 80 cms
• Expanded: 85 cms

7. Selection Process

Phases:

1. Phase I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
   • Male Candidates: 1.6 Kms race (7.30 minutes), Long Jump (11 feet), High Jump (3½ feet)
   • Female Candidates: 800 meters race (4.45 minutes), Long Jump (9 feet), High Jump (3 feet)
2. Phase II: Written Examination (100 marks)
   • General English: 10 questions (10 marks)
   • General Hindi: 10 questions (10 marks)
   • General Awareness: 10 questions (10 marks)
   • Quantitative Aptitude & Simple Reasoning: 10 questions (10 marks)
   • Psychology: 60 questions (60 marks)
