Government Holiday Announced in Punjab on May 10th
Chandigarh: There will be a government holiday throughout Punjab on Friday, May 10th. On this day, schools, colleges, government offices and other commercial establishments across the state will be closed.
Why Holiday declared? May 10th is the birthday of Lord Parshuram for this reason, holiday has been declared on this day by Punjab govt. In view of this, schools, colleges and other government institutions across Punjab will be closed. READ official notification here
