Director of the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Punjab issued guidelines regarding D.El.Ed teaching Practices.
The document states that D.El.Ed course is being conducted for the second year of session 2022-24 in 15 District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and 109 private self-financing colleges in the state.
The student teachers undergoing the D.El.Ed course will undergo teaching practice in primary/upper primary schools for 16 weeks from May 2, 2024 to October 25, 2024.
The document also outlines the guidelines for the teaching practice, which includes lesson plans, supervision by teachers, and attendance records.
Schools are directed to give priority to allotting students to schools with a shortage of teachers.
