Court Halts Results of 2364 ETT Recruitment in Punjab, Allows Counseling to Proceed
Chandigarh, 20-06-2024: In a significant development, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has put a hold on the release of results for the recruitment of 2364 ETT positions in Punjab. The court's order came in response to a petition challenging the recruitment process.
Until a hearing is conducted on the matter, the results will remain withheld. However, the court has allowed counseling for the candidates to continue. The next hearing is scheduled for July 1, where further deliberations will take place.
The petition was filed by a local resident, Maharaj Singh, among other candidates. They have raised concerns regarding the recruitment procedure. The court has directed the Department of Technical Education to present their case during the upcoming hearing.
The recruitment process, which commenced on September 7, 2023, has been under scrutiny, with candidates awaiting the final outcome. This decision has provided some respite to the candidates, allowing them to proceed with the counseling sessions without the finalized results.
The stay on the results will affect numerous candidates who have been anxiously awaiting the outcome of this extensive recruitment drive. The court's decision aims to ensure a fair and transparent process for all involved.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ 6 ਮਾਰਚ 2020 ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ 2364 ਈਟੀਟੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਭਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 16 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2021 ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 8 ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ ਅੰਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਹਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। Pb.jobsoftoday.in
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ 29 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2020 ਨੂੰ 2364 ਐਲੀਮੈਂਟਰੀ ਟਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਟੀਚਰਾਂ (ਈ.ਟੀ.ਟੀ.) ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 5 ਦਸੰਬਰ, 2020 ਨੂੰ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਸੂਚੀ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕੁਝ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ 13 ਜਨਵਰੀ, 2021 ਨੂੰ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਦਾਇਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 5 ਅੰਕ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ 'ਤੇ 12 ਫਰਵਰੀ, 2020 ਨੂੰ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੰਜ ਵਾਧੂ ਅੰਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਤ ਮੰਨਦਿਆਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟ ਆਫ ਲਿਸਟ 'ਚ ਰਾਹਤ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ।
ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 6635, 4161 ਬੈਚ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਭਰਤੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 2364 ਈਟੀਟੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ 6635, 4161, ਅਤੇ 5994 ਈਟੀਟੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਚੋਣ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਹੁਣ 2364 ਭਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਸੂਚੀ - ਕੱਟ ਆਫ ਲਿਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
