PSPCL TARIFF RATE 2023-24: ਪੀਐਸਪੀਸੀਐਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ 2023-24 ਲਈ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਦਰਾਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ
According to PSPCL "The main reasons for increase in gap is mainly due to the
increase in short term power purchase rate, blending of imported coal with Indian coal
at State & Central sector thermal power stations, increase in employee cost due to pay
revisions etc..
To work out the increase required to cover the gap (deficit), income from
sales to Common Pool consumers, Outside State sales and Rebate/surcharges has
not been considered. To cover the revenue gap of Rs. 3584.42 Crore in the remaining
10.5 months, the Commission decides to increase both Fixed Charges and Variable
Charges keeping in mind the regulatory requirements to keep cross subsidy levels
within 20% as per policy guidelines. Accordingly, the PSPCL tariff for FY 2023-24 determined
by the Commission is as follows:
