Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, Chandigarh was set up in the year 1990 in a Government Sarai Building Sector 32-A, which was provided by the Union Territory Chandigarh. The Institutes invites Applications  for admission to the following job oriented course:

1 . Diploma in Food Production - Duration 1½ years

2. Diploma in Bakery & Confectionery - Duration 1½ years

Total No. of Seats 

Trade Diploma in Food Production  : 67

Diploma in Bakery & Confectionery : 50 

Qualification 

10+2 with English as Compulsory subject 

Maximum Age :  Age No Bar


Form available at Institute and Institute website w.e.f. 23.04.2023

Last Date of receipt of applications: 30.06.2023 (5:00 P.M.)

List of shortlisted candidates to be displayed on Notice Board and Institute website 14.07.2023

Admission : 17.07.2023 to 20.07.2023

Admission Criteria for Diploma in Food Production and Diploma in Bakery & Confectionery : Percentage of marks in 10+2 examination 

How to apply: 

Interested candidates may download Prospectus and Application Form from the Institute's website (www.ihmchandigarh.org). The duly filled in application form with all required self-attested documents along with Demand Draft/UPI receipt of Rs. 250/- for General/OBC Category & Rs. 125/- for SC/ ST/PWD category (on production of caste certificate) in favour of Principal,

 Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, Payable at Chandigarh to be submitted in Institute on or before 30.06.2023.

Last date for submission of application 

 Application along with Demand Draft/UPI receipt can also be sent through speed post and should reach Institute by 30.06.2023 (05:00 p.m.).
